Coca-Cola Bottling, With Ice

The pension ice age has chilled Coca-Cola Bottling, which has announced that it will freeze its pension plan effective June 30, 2006.  Effective January 1, 2007, matching contributions to the company’s 401(k) plan will increase to 100% of elective deferrals up to 5 percent of an employee’s compensation.
